Ana Azarmi is firm’s latest Trainee Solicitor

07 Oct 2022

We are delighted that Ana Azarmi has accepted the position of Trainee Solicitor and joins fellow trainee Tamzin in working towards the newly launched Solicitors Qualifying Examination (SQE) to become a qualified solicitor.

Ana is a graduate of the University of Essex with a degree in Political Science and Government. She joined Azarmi Law in July 2020 as a paralegal and in November 2021 also, stepped up to fulfil the role of Practice Manager responsible for all the day to day activity in relation to recruitment, HR, facilities, IT and marketing.

Azarmi Law founder Sally Azarmi is thrilled with her daughter’s career choice. “I always saw Ana as a natural lawyer but it was important that she had this time as a Practice Manager and as a paralegal to confirm that the direction was right for her and that she was not just following in her mother’s footsteps. So with her eyes wide open to the challenges and opportunities ahead, I could not be more proud of Ana’s decision to now take a career in law to the next level. I look forward very much to there being an Azarmi at Azarmi Law for many decades to come.”

Ana agrees: “It was important, for both of us, that I did not take the decision lightly. I came to recognise that particularly in the political and regulatory arena of immigration, my degree is not just useful but also a real asset in terms of the providing context to the law. As Practice Manager, I also gained invaluable exposure to many of the other elements of managing a successful boutique firm. I certainly think I’m fully aware of the challenges of the SQE route but also very excited to consider my future at Azarmi Law.”
