Congratulations to Mitchell Potter – Azarmi Law’s first home-grown SQE qualified solicitor

27 Aug 2022

The Azarmi Law team is celebrating Mitchell (Mitch) Potter’s exciting news that he has successfully completed the newly launched Solicitors Qualifying Examinations (SQE) and is now a qualified solicitor.

Mitch joined Azarmi Law as a paralegal in 2018 following a degree in Sports and Exercise Science from the University of Essex. Working alongside and mentored by Sally Azarmi, Mitch soon decided that law was to be his long-term career and so set off on his qualification journey as one of the first cohort of over 1000 students aiming to qualify via the SQE route. 53% passed the first stage of assessment in November 2021 and 77% of the remaining 726 candidates passed the very first SQE2 assessment and qualified as a solicitor.

Sally Azarmi was happy to support Mitch to achieve this ground-breaking qualification and is particularly delighted in that he has provided inspiration to other members of the team but in particular Tamzin Impey, who as the firm’s newest Trainee Solicitor, will start working towards the SQE in September.
